FEL Power’s Fromuth Joins NE Council’s Energy & Environment Committee

August “Gus” Fromuth, Founder and Managing Director of Freedom Energy Logistics (“FEL Power”) has accepted an invitation to join the Energy & Environment Committee of the New England Council.

32-year veteran of the Energy Industry, Fromuth was instrumental in bringing direct market participation to end users in New England. He recently was elected to chair the End User Sector of the New England Power Pool (NEPOOL) for a second term. He serves as Vice Chair of the Participants Committee, NEPOOL’s principal governing body.

Fromuth served as U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for Trade Adjustment Assistance at the Department of Commerce. A graduate of The George Washington and Johns Hopkins Universities, he resides in Manchester, NH.
