Concord, NH – Clean Energy NH, the Granite State’s leading clean energy advocate and educator, welcomed retired State Senator Martha Fuller Clark, Freedom Energy Logistics Chief Operating Officer Bart Fromuth, and City of Nashua Energy Manager Doria Brown as new members to the Board of Directors in February 2021.

Retired State Senator Martha Fuller Clark served seven terms in the State Senate representing New Hampshire Senate District 24 (2004-2010) and Senate District 21 (2012-2020). During her tenure at the legislature, Senator Fuller Clark served multiple terms on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and was a sponsor of the state’s original Renewable Portfolio Standard.

Bart Fromuth joined Freedom Energy Logistics in 2008 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. Bart has been instrumental in Freedom’s exponential growth of the last decade to include the prestigious recognition by Inc. 5000, naming Freedom to the list of America’s fastest growing private companies in 2017 and 2018. Bart served two terms in the New Hampshire House of Representatives for the Hillsborough-7 District (Bedford) where he was an active member of the Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee. Bart was named to the national list of Emerging GOPs by GOPAC and was named to the Union Leader’s prestigious 40 Under Forty Class of 2019.

Doria Brown is Energy Manager for the City of Nashua and is championing the development of the City’s first Community Power Program, along with managing multiple solar projects. Previously, Doria worked with the sustainability team at Worthen Industries and was a driving force behind the at-the-time one of the largest solar arrays in the state, a 1-Megawatt rooftop solar array on the Nashua-based manufacturing facility.

“The Board and staff of CENH are thrilled to welcome Martha, Bart, and Doria. We are at a pivotal moment in developing how electricity, thermal energy and transportation will be utilized and managed in the future. The insights and experience of our three new Board members will be hugely beneficial as we help New Hampshire transition to a clean energy economy,” said Board of Directors Vice Chair, Kevin Porter of ROC USA Capital.
