Bart Fromuth, a seasoned professional in the energy sector, joined Freedom Energy Logistics in 2008 and now serves as our Chief Executive Officer. With a wealth of experience, Bart oversees the company’s day-to-day operations. He plays a critical role in driving industry insights and developing and expanding Freedom Energy’s offerings to serve our clients.

Bart’s background as an Energy Attorney has been a significant advantage for Freedom Energy’s clients. His expertise has resulted in stronger client-focused contracts with energy suppliers. Bart remains involved in supplier relationships, leveraging his legal background to navigate the complexities of interpreting and negotiating contracts for our clients. In 2019, he was honored with a Business Excellence award for his commitment to advocating for clients’ interests. In 2023, NH Business named Bart, to the 2024 New Hampshire 200 list. This list showcases leaders who have left a lasting impact on New Hampshire’s economy and business climate.

Throughout his career, Bart has shaped key policies in the New England Region, including residential choice, Community Choice Aggregation (CCA), and net metering. He continues to champion industry evolution, particularly advocating for Municipals and the State of NH, hydro, and LFG net metering, supporting local renewable generation, business development, and job growth in the region. Bart’s leadership is characterized by his direct involvement in creating market opportunities and driving legislation to support them, particularly in New Hampshire. He participated in the early stages of key energy and sustainability policies and continues to foster initiatives ensuring the availability of viable solutions, advancing market opportunities, and supporting clients through the energy transition.

Beyond his responsibilities at Freedom Energy, Bart has also served two terms in the New Hampshire House of Representatives for the Hillsborough-7 district (Bedford). He actively contributed to committees focused on commerce, consumer affairs, and governmental transparency during his tenure. Bart’s commitment to public service extends to his roles as an Advisory Board Member for the Children’s Scholarship Fund of New Hampshire and as a Board Member for Clean Energy New Hampshire and the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center. In recognition of his expertise, Bart was appointed by Governor Sununu to the Commission to investigate the implementation of next-generation nuclear reactor technology in New Hampshire in October 2022.

Through his leadership, industry expertise, and commitment to advocacy, Bart continues to drive Freedom Energy toward innovation and excellence in the energy sector.
