How does demand response work?

Freedom Energy and our demand response partner conduct an audit to determine demand response feasibility across client accounts and different utility territories. In addition, we collaborate with clients to identify curtailment opportunities that impact the operating function of the facility as little as possible. Our team has extensive experience in identifying simple, cost-effective ways to reduce peak usage which align with both demand response requirements and capacity tag reduction.

Clients enrolled in our Peak Notification Program will be notified when and how long to curtail. There is no risk to demand response program participation, with failure to respond resulting in no payment.
