Town of Londonderry, NH Renews Community Choice Aggregation Program for Residents and Small Businesses

Renewed CCA program extends competitive electricity supply rate for residents and small
businesses.

LONDONDERRY AND AUBURN, NH – October 15, 2026 – The Town of Londonderry and Freedom Energy Logistics (“Freedom Energy”) today announced the renewal of Londonderry’s Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program, continuing access to a fixed electricity supply rate for eligible residents and small businesses. The renewed program will offer a rate of $0.13523 per kWh from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027, with First Point Power (FPP) serving as the electricity supplier.
Eversource’s six-month default rate is $0.14009 per kWh, effective August 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027. The Londonderry CCA rate of $0.13523 per kWh is $0.00486 per kWh below Eversource’s current default rate, offering savings during the first months of the renewal term.

This renewal builds on the program’s success to date and reinforces our commitment to providing residents with greater stability and choice.”

Residents who are new to Londonderry since the program’s original launch will receive opt-out notices by mail beginning in October. They will have 30 days to opt out of the CCA program before being transitioned from Eversource default service to the Londonderry CCA program. Residents who do not opt out may still leave the program at any time without fees or penalties. Customers who already receive electricity supply from a third-party supplier will not be affected.

Londonderry aggregation customers will continue to receive electricity delivery service from Eversource, and any issues related to metering, billing, or power outages should continue to be directed to Eversource. Customers will also continue to receive their electric bills from Eversource.
