Freedom Energy and Walden Renewables Development Announce Full Subscription of Solar Project in Eversource Territory, NH
A 5 MW solar project in Chester, NH is now fully subscribed. In Q4 2023, Walden Renewables Development partnered with Freedom Energy to manage the off-take and administration of the project under New Hampshire’s Group Net Metering (GNM) Program.
This initiative boosts renewable energy efforts by generating local revenue, creating jobs, and helping ratepayers manage rising electricity costs. Freedom Energy played a key role in bringing this project to completion through innovative energy solutions.
Collaborating with Coös County and Manchester Water Works, this project is expected to become operational between 2026 and 2027, pending interconnection approvals. Read the full press release here.
