Celebrating 20 Years: Highlights from Our 2026 Annual Company Training

What does it look like when an entire company comes together to learn, connect, and celebrate 20 years of success?

This April, our team gathered at the Artisan Hotel at Tuscan Village in Salem, NH for one of the most meaningful events of the year, our Annual Company Training. Set against the backdrop of our 20th anniversary, the three-day experience was more than just training. It was a celebration of our people, our progress, and our future.

Employees from across the 10 states where we live and work came together in person, giving many the chance to connect face-to-face with colleagues they usually work with virtually. While our reach extends far beyond those states, this event was about strengthening our internal network building relationships, exchanging ideas, and reinforcing the collaborative culture that drives our success.

Big Ideas. Real Conversations.

The training delivered a dynamic mix of industry education, expert insight, and open dialogue around the challenges shaping today's energy markets often with packed sessions full of engaged questions and discussion.

A standout session, "The Myth of Fixed Price: Managing Risk in ISO-NE, NYISO, and PJM Power Markets," explored how shifting market fundamentals are redefining pricing and risk management.

We also heard directly from clients and partners during "Powering the Next 20 Years: Client Perspectives on Energy, Partnership, and What's Ahead," grounding our work in real-world experience and highlighting the importance of strong partnerships as we look ahead.

Across every session, one theme was clear: staying ahead in this ever-changing industry requires curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Innovation in Action

One of the most exciting moments of the week was the team-based Shock Tank competition—where the room was buzzing with ideas as teams prepared and presented their pitches.

Over the course of the training, teams collaborated to design and pitch AI-driven solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency. The creativity, collaboration, and energy throughout the challenge were incredible. From brainstorming sessions to final presentations, it was a powerful example of innovation in action and a reminder that great ideas can come from anywhere within our organization.

Connecting, Celebrating, and Looking Ahead

While the days were full of learning and collaboration, the evenings brought everyone together to connect and celebrate from rooftop views during the anniversary celebration to countless conversations, shared stories, and laughs.

The experience culminated in our 20th Anniversary Celebration and Employee Recognition Awards a chance to reflect on our journey and recognize the individuals and teams who continue to move us forward.

Congratulations again to the 2025 award recipients:

The night concluded with the highly anticipated announcement of the Shock Tank winners, team Watts Bots—bringing the competition to an exciting close and ending the event on a high note.

Moving Forward—Together

This year's All Company Training was a reflection of how far we've come over the past 20 years and a powerful reminder of what's ahead. The ideas shared, connections built, and achievements celebrated throughout those three days will continue to shape our success.

And if this year's training proved anything, it's that the next chapter is going to be even stronger than the last.
