Freedom Energy Empowers NH Municipalities with Group Net Metering

Freedom Energy enables New Hampshire municipalities to collaborate with local renewable energy producers through Group Net Metering (GNM). As proxy off-takers, municipalities can align their energy consumption with production, generating revenue and contributing to a sustainable future.

What does it mean to be an off-taker or member in a Group Net Metering program?

Being an off-taker or member means committing to use renewable energy. This helps renewable energy generators sell excess energy, supports a cleaner environment, and can generate revenue for your municipality.

Are there any costs associated with participating in a Group Net Metering program?

No, participation involves no costs and generates additional revenue.

Does the program offer flexibility?

Yes, the program provides flexible commitments with various options to meet your municipality’s needs on a month-to-month basis.

What are the environmental benefits of Group Net Metering?

Group Net Metering promotes renewable energy in New Hampshire, reduces carbon emissions, and combats climate change. Participation helps decrease fossil fuel dependence, conserves natural resources, and fosters a healthier environment for future generations.

Is the program offered by other companies?

No, the Hydro+Solar Program and Standby Program are exclusively offered by Freedom Energy Logistics.

No changes needed! GNM requires no behavioral changes or upfront costs. Simply enroll, maintain your usual electricity usage, and benefit from local renewable energy initiatives with flexible commitment options.

If you’re skeptical, rest assured that GNM is a legitimate initiative with advantages for both participants and the environment.

Engaging Young Minds at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center

Our team had an inspiring day at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, where we interacted with young, curious minds, educating them about renewable energy sources. The enthusiasm and excitement of the kids as they learned about solar, wind, and hydro energy, and how to protect our planet, were truly motivating.

We also hosted a raffle where kids collected stamps and asked questions about energy, eagerly sharing ideas and facts. The event included a coloring area, where both kids and adults enjoyed a creative and relaxing experience. This blend of education and creativity made the day even more special.
